From Our Character and Costume Research..By Afsara Tasnim

From our character and costume research, we particularly focused on an actress such as Jessica Alba who had that naive and innocent look to her face which will immediately portray her as the victim to the audience. Her costume choices in this image below: represent her as a victim as she is a wearing white vest top while she's looking in the mirror.

In our opening sequence, Chloe's (actress) costume choices reflects a sense of danger. We all decided that the victim in our opening should wear the colour red as it connotes danger and also makes her stand out as the protagonist of the film. She wears a red tshirt with her hair let out while sleeping. The reason why her hair was let out was because her scene was shot while she was sleeping and like Jessica Alba, we also wanted to give her that naive, vulnerable look to her face.
