Why We Researched Titles - Chloe Lawler

The research we have done (at looking at film titles) has allowed our group to expand our knowledge of what generic conventions of a horror film title should look like. Seeing other film titles showed us how our own film title should look and has given our group some ideas of what we want our opening title to be. This research has also shown us what we need to include in the opening credits, such as the director and music producer. The title openings of different horror films has made our group discuss a variety of different options of what we want our film opening credits to look like. We have also begun to create many titles that we believe would suit our genre. Having these options gives our group a diverse range to choose from and allows us to pick a title that we all think would be best suited for our opening.
